CRC ORE draws on cross discipline collaboration to produce innovative tools, techniques and methodologies that will transform the mining industry. Its people come from a multitude of backgrounds and are selected for their expertise across multiple fields.

The Board of CRC ORE is comprised of representatives from industry and research, and has combined experience across all aspects of mining and applied research. They are supported by the Technical Advisory Panel, a committee of technical specialists who advise the Board on new research proposals and monitor the progress of ongoing projects. Headed by CEO Professor Alan Bye, the Centre's management team coordinates CRC ORE operations and research.
