Event wrap up

CRC ORE Annual Assembly 2017
21 November 2017
Customs House, Brisbane

21 November 2017: Key representatives from Mining, METS and Research Participants, along with a complement of other stakeholders and leaders from across the broader mining sector, attended CRC ORE’s showcase event, the CRC ORE Annual Assembly on 21 November 2017. Some 145 attendees came together for this year’s event, which was held this year at The University of Queensland’s Customs House in Brisbane. A line-up of mining industry leaders and researchers took to the podium throughout the day to illustrate the cutting-edge research projects, implementation trials and step change technology developments that are underway in the minerals sector under the banner of CRC ORE. An insightful panel session delving into proactively overcoming the challenges of engagement between Researchers, METS and Miners was included in this year’s event. The day was marked by a genuine sense of collaboration and energy toward the shared purpose of working together to transform the future of mining.
